GA & Industrial Relations Officer (code : GA-IRO)
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
GA/Industrial Relations Officer is accountable for assisting Plant HR Manager to maintain & monitor the implementation of organization
regulations, policy & procedures, and industrial relationships (i.e. Manpower Department, local Governments (i.e. meals, transportation,
security, & uniforms) in manufacturing area.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. MONITOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF REGULATIONS
(Related to Disciplinary Actions) by establishing & ensuring Employee Disciplines as follows:
- Provide monthly offences Report to each department in timely basis
- Ensure all Warning letters are well documented and distributed to related divisions / departments
- Monitor the rate of absenteeism (including lateness)
2. INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS & LIAISON
Influence the development and maintenance of effective industrial relations by maintaining awareness of all potential issues,
recommending policies and actions, which achieve industrial harmony and promoting the organization as a good employer.
This includes managing good employees' relations.
3. GENERAL AFFAIRS
Ensure the provision of employees' facilities and working tools to maximum, especially those, which are closely related to daily
activities (i.e. transportation, security, permit for hardware, lockers, sanitation of the plant, food canteen) in order to make
"Business Partner trademark" happen and to create better workplace for employees.
4. SECURITY
Ensure the workplace as secured as possible for employees and plant guests by establishing and implementing good security
system and procedures.
5. CORPORATE LEGAL DOCUMENTATION HANDLING IN THE PLANT
Responsible for assisting the Management in handling company business documents, which relate to government matters and
regulation, as follows:
Renewal Permit of Employment/Personnel
- Permit of Obligatory Employee Report
- Permit to Report of Deviation Work Time and Rest Time Over 9 Hour of The Day and 54 Hour of The Week.
- Permit of Obligatory to Pay of Work Accident Insurance Report.
- Permit to Report of Obligatory Welfare Facility Employee in Company.
- Monthly Obligatory Work Time Deviation Report
Renewal Permit of Heavy Equipments to Government.
- Forklift, Hand-truck, Hand-Lifter.
- Additional production machineries.
REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate - preferable majoring in Law with at least 4 years in HR fields with specialization in manufacturing.
- Having knowledge in Industrial Relations & Labours Law
- Having good communication skill & Interpersonal relationship
- Having experience in dealing with Government/Non-Government Institutions.
- Good Knowledge on HR Development tools.
- Fluent in English (Oral & written)
