Posisi : Chief Analyst, QA/QC Laboratory
The purpose of this position is:
Lead test construction laboratory activities for the purposes of mining and civil construction design plans, to ensure the design plans implementation in compliance with the International Standard and PTFI policies, procedures and quality requirement and minimize cost lost of the construction works as well.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
1. Plan and develop detail work plan (usually for repeated order) to provide guidance to laboratories activities in achieving its objectives and strategies.
2. Improve the laboratory activities to handle all required sampling, testing and eliminate the off-site testing according to International standards.
3. Propose annual budget and monitor its performance to support the achievement and objectives of Laboratory within the allocated budget.
4. Provide recommendation regarding laboratory test follow-up action to ensure all construction requirements are comply with standard.
5. Identify and implement subordinate's development needs to enhance their capabilities.
6. Guide, monitor and control the implementation of safety standards and procedures within work area to minimize accident and damage.
The key challenges in this position include:
° Advance skill and knowledge with the latest tools and method of construction laboratory testing.
° Synchronize with construction schedule and activities.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
Minimum Education and Experience
° S1 Degree in civil engineering with minimum 3 years working experience in Laboratory and Geotechnical Laboratory construction project.
° Bachelor Degree (D3) with minimum 8 years working experience in Laboratory and Geotechnical Laboratory construction project.
Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)
° Concern for order.
° Knowledge of infrastructure in mine industry.
° Other standard competencies.
The key areas in which you have decision-making responsibility are:
° Approve operating expense up to US $1250 monthly.
° Approve subordinate's leave request.
° Make a judgment to repair and/or reject construction work when it does not meet standard quality requirement.
° Make decision upon result of construction test.
