SITE ADMINISTRATOR

 

Requirements:

1) Min. Diploma degree in any major

2) Min. 3 years previous experience in admin area

3) Good communication skill

4) Have a good relationship with local community and local government

5) Good command in English, written and verbal

6) Attention to detail

 

Responsibilities:

1) Plan, direct and co-ordinate the work of personnel engaged in office services function such as messenger services, operation of the company car, storing and issuing supplies, reception, office boy & girls, distributing and dispatching mail,  fax and copying equipment, cleaning and maintaining office equipment.

2) Manage stationary for office operation and liaise with Procurement Manager / staffs to order stationary and other office equipments.

3) Manage all administration and general affairs of up to medium size project such as coordinate  transportation and accommodation for project personnel, staff and PTP Guest, process all logistics related documents, monitor and maintain validity of relevant documents which impact on project operations including vehicle registrations.

4) Develop and maintain good relationship with local authorities (Lurah, Camat, Tokoh Adat / Agama, Police & Army) and communities around the project.

5) Process Licences and Permits from local government

6) Arrange and maintain site security including obtaining back up from Police and Army

7) Arrange movement of people (employees and visitors)

8) Prepare monthly report and sent to Operations Manager.

9) Liaise with Section accounts or Tax Officer relating to financial or tax matters including arranging cheque for site payments.

10) Liaise with HR Officer in handling of any HR / ER issues arised on project (if required).

11) Liaise with HR Officer in ensuring timesheet, personal advance, and leave are correct prior project Manager approval.

Oxfam International Youth Partnerships Program - Applications Extended till February 12, 2010

ANNOUNCEMENT: Oxfam International Youth Partnerships Program - Applications Extended until February 12,  2010

Applications are now being accepted for Oxfam International Youth Partnerships until the 12th February 2010. Please pass this on to any young people (18-25 years old) you know who want to bring about positive change in their communities, are committed to working with others, and want to learn from other young people around the world.  We also encourage more than one applicant from each organisation or community group.

OIYP is an Oxfam International initiative, managed by Oxfam Australia since 2000.  OIYP strengthens young people's ability to effect change in their community, and provides a base from which they can influence broader changes through engagement in a global network of over 1100 OIYP Action Partners.  Through a 3 year Program, OIYP will provide opportunities and support for 300 new Action Partners so they may demonstrate leadership and expand the influence of youth for positive changes locally, nationally and globally.

To launch the 2010 – 2013 OIYP Program, Oxfam will host an 8 day Kaleidoscope event in November 2010 in New Delhi, India.  At this event, Action Partners are given the opportunity to connect with people across regions and cultures that are facing similar challenges in their own communities.  This allows for the chance for a cultural exchange, as well as the exchange of skills and knowledge building and planning on how young people can contribute to changes in their own lives as well as the lives of others in their communities.  The following two years includes a variety of online and offline learning and development opportunities including face to face workshops, cultural immersion programs, e-workshops, online discussions and networking opportunities.

Who are we looking for?

Every 3 years OIYP goes through a rigorous process of recruiting and selecting a new group of 300 Action Partners.  To be eligible to apply, applicants must be aged 18-25, able to speak English or Spanish conversationally and available to attend an 8 day event in November 2010, in New Delhi, India.

Core selection criteria:

• Commitment to finding new ways of working
• Evidence of commitment to positive, equitable and sustainable change
• Ability to explain their own understanding of the issues they're working on
• A commitment to personal reflection and developing self awareness
• Community or organisational support

OIYP is open to all nationalities, Indigenous and ethnic groups.  It is open to young people with any level of education and who live in rural or urban areas.  We have a strong focus on the participation of Indigenous young people and those marginalised in their communities.

For the 2010 – 2013 OIYP Program, Oxfam is specifically targeting young people who:

• Are active on gender justice
• From communities impacted by climate change
• Living with a disability
• Using innovative means to influence decision makers (locally or nationally)
• Are from minority Indigenous groups

Applicants will be informed of their selection by mid April 2010.  At this point, we will inform successful applicants (Action Partners) of how OIYP will support them to attend the OIYP Kaleidoscope 2010 event.  There is a limited scholarship pool which will be allocated to support travel costs for many of the top selected Action Partners.  However some Action Partners may be required to fundraise for travel costs, in these cases OIYP will provide support letters and training on fundraising.  There is no registration fee for OIYP.

Vacancy HSE Coordinator


A PMA company who specializes in oil and gas drilling (based in Jakarta) is in urgent need of a HSE COORDINATOR with the following requirements and responsibilities:

1. Male

2. Has about 10 years safety experience and 3 years rig experience

3. Has a recognized experience based HSE qualification

4. Be familiar with OSHAS management

5. Provide technical advice in all areas of HSE matters and ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation standards and code of practice

6. Coordinate, and where applicable, present HSE training programs

7. Establish HSE committees and regular meetings

8. Report HSE statistics and information to management and client's representative(s)

9. Maintain information on risk assessement and assist in the review process and dissemination of information to employees and maintain regular contact with HSE Manager on Health, Safety and Environment matters.

10. Assist in the investigation of all accidents, near misses/hazard reports and make recommendations and concerns that will prevent recurrence.
